Sue White
Street/Hip-hop Teacher
Sue worked in London�s West End for over 20 years. During that time she was involved in numerous Musical Theatre and television productions, including 'Grease' and 'Saturday Night Fever'. Highly regarded in her field, she worked her way up from dancer to Resident Choreographer, working with acclaimed choreographers such as Wayne Sleep and Arlene Phillips. She worked with Wayne on no less than five productions, and has been assistant to Arlene almost exclusively since 1993. During that time she performed and assisted on productions in some of London's largest venues including the London Palladium, the Dominion Theatre, The Cambridge Theatre, and the Royal Opera House. She was also part of the creative team for the Commonwealth Games in Manchester.
Sue has many TV credits to her name, on both the BBC and ITV, including appearances on The Royal Variety Show and several Lawrence Olivier Award ceremonies.
As assistant to Arlene Phillips, she was charged with coaching many stars from theatre, film and TV including John Barrowman, Adam Garcia, Shane Ritchie, Tamsin Outhwaite, Sonia, Samantha Janus, and Craig McLoughlin.
She is very much looking forward to working with the Mid Wales Dance Academy, teaching her fun Hip-Hop classes to students of all ages and abilities.
