Gareth Phillips
Drama & Musical Theatre coach
Gareth was born and brought up in the Brecon Beacons. At the age of 14 he was accepted at the prestigious Italia Conti Academy in London where he continued his education and theatrical training. During this time he performed in many TV productions and played the role of "Nick" in Grange Hill for five years. He also performed alongside Les Dawson in many children's variety shows. On graduating from the academy he worked professionally in London's West End.
A qualified teacher of Drama and Vocal Movement through the RNDA, Gareth now teaches performing arts and is director of two companies. A past Chairman and current committee member of Brecknock Little Theatre, he has also served on the board of Theatr Brycheiniog.
